SUMMARY:AR15 American Rifle match - Combo Line
DESCRIPTION:The AR15 rifle style is owned by millions of Americans. This competition is designed for shooters of all skill levels. \nIts purpose is to increase familiarity with the rifle\, its safe handling\, and the resolving of failures when they happen. \nImportantly\, to improve marksmanship\, not from a steady bench and a deliberately slow fire which is the usual way targets are hit\, but from different\, dynamic stages more like ones used in real life. \n  \nThe program for the ARAR match is as follows: \n\nCalendar of the ARAR for 2022 is:\n\nMarch 6 \nApril 3 \nMay 15 \nJune 12 \nJuly 10 \nAugust 14 \n\nThe competition consists of 8 stages\, 4 positions\, and 72 rounds fired.\nAny type of sight is permitted: iron\, optics no magnification\, and optics with magnification.\nThe targets are at distances of 100\, 50\, 25\, and 7 yards.\nFirst shot at 9:00 a.m. until finished.\nThe initial stage will be at 100 yards. SUMMARY:High Power 100 (HP100) match - Green Range
DESCRIPTION:The High Power 100 (HP100) match is an NRA competition designed to be fired with high power rifles\, caliber .223/5.56 to .308 (.311 allowed for the HP100) at paper targets placed at 100 yards. Only iron sights used\, NO optics. \nThe participants in the NRA’s national High Power match have the opportunity to practice in this event at The Fusilier Complex without his/her NRA record being affected because these scores will NOT be sent to the NRA. \nThe Club’s CAROL GREEN rifle line will be used. \nCompetition is open to any able body of sound mind 12 years old or older (responsible party must be present.) \nThe competitor fires a total of 50 rounds in four positions. Sling is allowed except in Standing. \nStanding:                10 rounds in 10 minutes\, single load only\, no sling. \nSitting/Kneeling:    10 rounds in 60 seconds\, one reload. \nProne:                     10 rounds in 70 seconds\, one reload. \nProne:                     20 rounds in 20 minutes\, single load only. \nSighting in:             Unlimited shots\, 5 minutes. \nWhen:   Sunday – April 24\, 2022 \nHours:         9:00 am until finished \nThe dates are shown in The Fusilier Complex calendar: \nhttps://fusiliercomplex.com/ \nWhere:  The Fusilier Complex range near Arnaudville\, LA. \nDirections at https://fusiliercomplex.com/index.php/map-directions \nTFC members entry fee: $10.00.
