DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce that the Bayou Rows Precision Challenge will be hosted by The Fusilier Complex\, in conjunction with LPRC(range in Pioneer\, La) and A Team Precision.\nThis marks the beginning of the inaugural Outlaw season at the range\, focused on practical\, challenging stages designed to test real-world shooting skills—while remaining approachable for shooters of all experience levels.\n\n\n 2026 Outlaw Match Schedule\n• May 16\, 2026 – Fusilier Member-Only Tune-Up\n• June 27\, 2026 – 1st Outlaw Match\n• August 22\, 2026 – 2nd Outlaw Match\n• September 19\, 2026 – Louisiana Finale\n\n\n Points & Series Format\n• The points system will follow the traditional PRS-style format\, with points calculated based on each shooter’s score relative to the match winner.\n• Shooters may compete in as many matches as they choose throughout the season.\n• To crown the Best of Louisiana\, finale standings will be determined by a combination of each shooter’s top three match points.\n• We highly encourage shooters to compete in at least one match per facility\, supporting all host ranges and ensuring a well-rounded season. DESCRIPTION:The Whirling .22s is a timed challenge\, designed for all everyday shooters without the need of special equipment or special training\, with rifles and pistols .22\, at targets that will whirl (spin) or move when hit. \nYou will perform accurate and fast shooting in a variety of conditions challenging gun enthusiasts. \nCompetition is open to any able body of sound mind 12 years old or older. Timed. Shoot each plate until hit\, then move on\, RIGHT TO LEFT. \nBrisk Lick. Timed. Compete against another. First to finish wins. \n  \nFeeble Shot. Timed. Semi-auto is suggested. \nTwo 10 rounds (or more) magazines. \nAny sights: iron sights or optics. \nSling is allowed. \nPistols allowed            \nSemi-auto is a must. \nTwo 10 round (or more) magazines. \nAny sights: iron sights or optics. \n  \nGeneral information \nThe Pistol Only line will be used with non-participants as spectators. \nTargets will be between 7 yards and 15 yards. \nEye and hear protections are REQUIRED on the line and staging areas for any person at this event. \nThe .22 bullets WILL fragment upon impact on the metal so ricochets are NOT happening but a \nsliver of lead MAY come back to the firing line. \nThe backstop is the berm. Targets will be positioned in front of it and the berm will capture bullets. \nNo drinking water nor food available for sale at the range. \n  \n  \n  \nRULES \n  \nR1. Safety is a must. Anybody acting disruptively will be asked to leave immediately. His/her behavior may be reported to the appropriate authority. \nR2. All events have a time limit and a limited number of shots. In all stages the shots will be no more than 20 for rifle and 20 for pistol. \nR3. All events will be run sequentially and there will be only one or two whirlers in each stage and a Whirling 22s Spotter (W22S)\, who will report the number of hits. \nR4. Any whirler using more that the allotted rounds will have to rerun the stage or accept a zero score. Score is hits until time or ammo runs out. \nR5. In case of a tie\, one of the stages will be used until a winner emerges. The break-the-tie gun to be used\, rifle or pistol\, will be decided by the Whirling 22s Director (W22D). \nR6. Gun must be supported by whirler’s body parts only. \nR7. The course of fire will be given at the event and not before. \nR8. DESCRIPTION:The Green range will be closed Friday morning for match setup but members are welcome to shoo after 12:00 Friday afternoon while competitors are practicing for the match. Please just be aware that all range commands from match staff must be followed and access downrange will be limited. \n  \nIn addition\, members are encouraged to come out to the range and check out the match. Several of the top lever action silhouette shooters in the country will be attending. Lever action silhouette is a fun sport and this is a great opportunity to learn more about it. The match will serve gumbo for lunch on Saturday and members are invited to have a free bowl or two. \n  \nThe Green Range will be closed all day on Saturday\, December 14 and until late in the afternoon on Sunday\, December 14.
