DESCRIPTION:The Whirling .22s is a timed challenge\, designed for all everyday shooters without the need of special equipment or special training\, with rifles and pistols .22\, at targets that will whirl (spin) or move when hit. \nYou will perform accurate and fast shooting in a variety of conditions relevant to gun enthusiasts. \nCompetition is open to any able body of sound mind 12 years old or older. \nThe Games also provide an ambient of camaraderie\, respect\, and self-control. \nTrophies and Certificates to 1st \, 2nd \, and 3rd places are awarded. \n  \nTargets for the Games are: \n  \nHanging Arms. Safety is a must. Anybody acting disruptively will be asked to leave immediately. His/her behavior may be reported to the appropriate authority. \nR2. All events will be run sequentially and there will be only one or two whirlers in each stage and a Whirling 22s Spotter (W22S)\, who will report the number of hits. \nR4. Any whirler using more that the allotted rounds will have to rerun the stage or accept a zero score. Score is hits until time or ammo runs out. \nR5. In case of a tie\, one of the stages will be used until a winner emerges. The break-the-tie gun to be used\, rifle or pistol\, will be decided by the Whirling 22s Director (W22D). \nR6. Gun must be supported by whirler’s body parts only. \nR7. The course of fire will be given at the event and not before. \nR8. The course of fire may be altered at any time by the Whirling .22s Director. \nR9. Any protest or doubts on results will be decided by the Whirling .22s Director (W22D) with the assistance of the Whirling .22s Spotters (W22S) and Whirling .22s Participants (W22P). \nR10. A competitor MUST be able to hear and understand all the range commands at all times to be \nable to act in this Games. If not\, then he/she will not be allowed to participate. \nR11. Any rifle\, bolt action\, lever action or semi-auto with 10 round capacity can be used.\n\n  \n\nBring 100 rounds of your favorite ammo along with a bipod and rear bag. (Not mandatory\, but will help with getting more impacts)\n\n  \n\nChildren ages 8-12 will require direct adult supervision. (Min age of 8)\n\n  \n\nArrive by 07:00 in order to sign up\, get assigned to a squad and attend Safety Briefing.\n\n  \n\nCost: $20 / person\n\n  \n\n22 LR Precision Match will be open to Fusilier members\, non-members & guests. DESCRIPTION:It is not rare to have in our collection of rifles a historic piece from old times\, such as the famous M1 Garand (or M1 Carbine)\, the respected Springfield 1903\, the still in use Enfield SMLE\, Mauser in several versions\, the widely used Russian AK47 (or Chinese SKS)\, the AR15 since Vietnam\, and all other similar pieces. One is guilty of appreciating these military tools with historical significance\, but rarely we have the pleasure to fire them. \n  \nOne will have the rare opportunity to shoot 50 rounds from a historic rifle MAY 22nd.  \n  \nTFC is offering to the owners of such rifles a seldom happening occasion when one can enjoy to do what the rifle was supposed to do. \n  \n\nThe event consists of 5 stages and 4 positions (Standing\, Kneeling\, Sitting\, Prone). Each stage fires 10 rounds in slow fire.\nOnly iron sight is used.\nTargets are at 100 yards\, simulating 200\, 300\, and 600 yards. Shoot each plate until hit\, then move on\, RIGHT TO LEFT. \nRound and Round. Must hit bigger disc trying to make it to go around \nFeeble Shot. Target for pistol is big gong; rifle is small gong. Week stances. \nShooting Gallery. Moving plates. \nDueling Post. Overpower competitor for most plates. \nUp And Down. Put 4 paddles up and then put them down; 8 times. \nJAWS. All events will be run sequentially and there will be only one or two whirlers in each stage and a Whirling 22s Spotter (W22S)\, who will report the number of hits. \nR4. Any whirler using more that the allotted rounds will have to rerun the stage or accept a zero score. Score is hits until time or ammo runs out. \nR5. In case of a tie\, one of the stages will be used until a winner emerges. The break-the-tie gun to be used\, rifle or pistol\, will be decided by the Whirling 22s Director (W22D). \nR6. Gun must be supported by whirler’s body parts only. \nR7. The course of fire will be given at the event and not before. \nR8. The course of fire may be altered at any time by the Whirling .22s Director. \nR9. Any protest or doubts on results will be decided by the Whirling .22s Director (W22D) with the assistance of the Whirling .22s Spotters (W22S) and Whirling .22s Participants (W22P). \nR10. A competitor MUST be able to hear and understand all the range commands at all times to be \nable to act in this match. DESCRIPTION:The Fusilier Complex is excited to host the 2020 Louisiana Lever Action Silhouette Rifle State Championship next weekend\,  December 11 – 13. Participation at the match is limited this year due to COVID\, but club members and others interested are encouraged to come out to the range to see the match and learn more about the sport of Lever Action Rifle Silhouette. \nThe 300-yard range will be closed all morning on Friday\, December 11 to allow the match staff to set the course.  Practice/warmup for the weekend will start at noon on Friday. Club members and guests may use the range on Friday afternoon subject to the range commands of the match’s line officers. \nNOTE: THE HANDGUN LINE AND COMBO LINE WILL BE OPEN FOR MEMBER USE ALL WEEKEEND. \nThe championship weekend will begin on Saturday\, December 12\, with the Pistol Cartridge Lever Action Rifle state championship match in the morning. The Smallbore Lever Action Rifle state championship match will follow on Saturday afternoon. The 300-yard range will be closed all day on Saturday. \nThe Big Bore Lever Action Rifle state championship match will take place on Sunday morning and the championship will conclude thereafter. The 300-yard range will be closed until 2:00 PM on Sunday.

DESCRIPTION:Rifle silhouette is shot standing and unsupported but club matches will include courses of fire for shooters preferring to shoot off the bench\, prone\, or from other tactical positions. The size and distance of the target will depend upon the shooters choice of firing position. \nCourses of fire will be available for both rifles with scopes and iron sights. \nCurrently these matches will be limited to .22LR rifles. \nThe club is partnering with the Louisiana Rifle Silhouette Team in an effort to create both a fun club activity and establish the Fusilier Complex as a premier silhouette competition venue in the southern region of the country. \nSilhouette shooting is fun and challenging for competitors of all ages and shooting abilities.
