DESCRIPTION:Finally\, after much anticipation we are ready to open the new Action Bay for member use. \n\nThe Action Bay does have a unique set of rules which have been added to the club’s range rules for your review.  As a requirement for members to use the bay\, you will need to attend an Action Bay Certification Class.\nUpon completion of the certification class you will receive your certification card which will be kept with your gate access card.\nDuring this certification class we will review the new Action Bay rules and how to apply them vs the general range rules and types of targets to use.\nBring ear / eye protection and your gun / holster etc. (if no holster\, bring a gun bag)\, and 20 rounds of ammo to walk through a mock stage in order to understand  shooting and moving.

DESCRIPTION:The High Power 100 (HP100) match is an NRA competition designed to be fired with high power rifles\, caliber .223/5.56 to .308 (.311 allowed for the HP100) at paper targets placed at 100 yards. Only iron sights used\, NO optics. \nThe participants in the NRA’s national High Power match have the opportunity to practice in this event at The Fusilier Complex without his/her NRA record being affected because these scores will NOT be sent to the NRA. \nThe Club’s CAROL GREEN rifle line will be used. \nCompetition is open to any able body of sound mind 12 years old or older (responsible party must be present.) \nThe competitor fires a total of 50 rounds in four positions. DESCRIPTION:The Whirling .22s is a timed challenge\, designed for all everyday shooters without the need of special equipment or special training\, with rifles and pistols .22\, at targets that will whirl (spin) or move when hit. \nYou will perform accurate and fast shooting in a variety of conditions relevant to gun enthusiasts. \nCompetition is open to any able body of sound mind 12 years old or older. \nThe Games also provide an ambient of camaraderie\, respect\, and self-control. \nTrophies and Certificates to 1st \, 2nd \, and 3rd places are awarded. \n  \nTargets for the Games are: \n  \nHanging Arms. Shoot each plate until hit\, then move on\, RIGHT TO LEFT. \nBrisk Lick. Not timed. Compete against another. First finish wins. \n  \nFeeble Shot. Target for pistol is big gong; rifle is small gong. Various stances. \n  \n  \nShooting Gallery. Moving plates. \n  \n  \nDueling Post. Overpower competitor for most plates. Timed. \n  \nUp And Down. Put 4 paddles up and then put them down. \n  \n  \nWOODPECKER. Directions at \n  \nAwards \nTitle of ”Summa”\, “Magna”\, & “Cum Laude” Whirler  to the three highest scores. \n  \nEntry Fees $10.00 (TFC non-members fee $20.00) \n  \nEquipment \nCaliber .22 rifle (2 mags of 10 shots each) and .22 pistol (2 mags of 10 shots each). \nEyes and ears protectors. \nNO .22 Magnum\, NO Hypervelocity .22\, NO .17\, NO 5.7 \nAmmunition   \nShooters will provide own ammunition. Soft nose lead .22. \nAt least 440 rounds will be needed. Better bring more just in case. Ammunition is not available for sale at the games. \nNO .22 Magnum\, NO Hypervelocity .22\, NO .17\, NO 5.7 \n  \nRifles allowed              \nSemi-auto\, lever\, pump. Semi-auto is suggested. \nTwo 10 rounds magazine. \nAny sights: iron sights or optics. \nSling is allowed. \n  \nPistols allowed            \nSemi-auto is a must. \nTwo 10 round magazines. \nAny sights: iron sights or optics. \n  \nGeneral information \nThe Pistol Only line will be used with non-participants as spectators. \nTargets will be between 10 yards and 15 yards. \nEye and hear protections are REQUIRED on the line and staging areas for any person at this event. \nThe .22 bullets WILL fragment upon impact on the metal so ricochets are NOT happening but a sliver of lead MAY come back to the firing line. \nThe backstop is the berm. Safety is a must. Anybody acting disruptively will be asked to leave immediately. His/her behavior may be reported to the appropriate authority. \nR2. All events have a time limit and a limited number of shots. In all stages the shots will be no more than 20 for rifle and 20 for pistol. \nR3. All events will be run sequentially and there will be only one or two whirlers in each stage and a Whirling 22s Spotter (W22S)\, who will report the number of hits. \nR4. Any whirler using more that the allotted rounds will have to rerun the stage or accept a zero score. Score is hits until time or ammo runs out. \nR5. In case of a tie\, one of the stages will be used until a winner emerges. The break-the-tie gun to be used\, rifle or pistol\, will be decided by the Whirling 22s Director (W22D). \nR6. Gun must be supported by whirler’s body parts only. \nR7. The course of fire will be given at the event and not before. \nR8. The course of fire may be altered at any time by the Whirling .22s Director. \nR9. Any protest or doubts on results will be decided by the Whirling .22s Director (W22D) with the assistance of the Whirling .22s Spotters (W22S) and Whirling .22s Participants (W22P). \nR10. A competitor MUST be able to hear and understand all the range commands at all times to be \nable to act in this Games. If not\, then he/she will not be allowed to participate. \nR11. If a competitor at the firing line does not understand or does not hear a command he/she must: \na – Refrain from shooting and make the gun safe\, or \nb – If there is time\, ask for clarifications.

DESCRIPTION:22 LR Precision Match \n\n08:00 Saturday\, October 9th\n\n  \n\nFusilier Complex\, 301 Ismael Road\, Arnaudville\, LA 70512\n\n  \n\nYou will be engaging steel targets at varying distances (25-150 yards)\, and shooting from different positions with a time limit of 90 seconds per stage. Any rifle\, bolt action\, lever action or semi-auto with 10 round capacity can be used.\n\n  \n\nBring 100 rounds of your favorite ammo along with a bipod and rear bag. (Not mandatory\, but will help with getting more impacts)\n\n  \n\nChildren ages 8-12 will require direct adult supervision. (Min age of 8)\n\n  \n\nArrive by 07:00 in order to sign up\, get assigned to a squad and attend Safety Briefing.\n\n  \n\nCost: $20 / person\n\n  \n\n22 LR Precision Match will be open to Fusilier members\, non-members & guests.
